....And now to Heart....
Our core practice is demonstrative love--hugging, stroking, reassuring, kissing...Our belief is that deep healing will only take place if a creature feels safe, cared for, and loved.
We have a Staff of twenty-three, including three full-time veterinarian doctors who use both traditional and alternative medicine.
We are a "no-kill" shelter, having hospice for dying creatures.
The vibration inside is truly uplifting. It would gladden your Heart. Chants playing continuously. Our Staff is devoted and loving. The dogs and puppies are not kept in cages but run free and are happy.
Our Founder speaking about the special Heart flows that infuse the running of our Shelter..............This is a 3 1/2 minute video of bits taken from an interview of Leslie done several years ago. In it he discusses some of the different, esoteric ideas that are the fabric of our Shelter................It opens where he’s talking about Bach Flower remedies, a homeopathic flower essence that is able to treat feelings…Right, I said feelings…I didn’t believe it either when I first heard about them twenty or thirty years ago. They're an incredibly powerful tool in the hands of a clinician.
....Several video snippets....
This is a video of a 1 1/2 month old puppy who was paralyzed with a broken back. Dr. Raja was able to bring him back. The 45 second video capturing his joy at being able again to move is precious.
This is another Little One that was paralysed. See how beautifully she walks (43 seconds).
I mentioned we had hospice for dying creatures...Love. Tender caring. A Tibetan Buddhist prayer list for 49 days after they die. The link, below, is the story of sweet Hanuman, an adult monkey who blessed us with his presence for two weeks.
And here is a 30 second video of a Shelter moment called Slippin' 'n Slidin'.
....Our story. It's a very special presentation....
